We offer day tours in various regions of Costa Rica and Panama.
San José and surroundings, in the Caribbean, la Fortuna and Monteverde, on Bocas del Toro in Panama. Please contact us.
Almost all tours start daily - usually for 1 person or more - from Posada Nena or partner hotels.
There is also a selection of tour options that you can undertake alone, i.e. on your own. Be it as a hike, by bus or with your own rental car. Of course, some of the “organized day tours” on offer can also be carried out by rental car, but not all destinations are easy. Simply contact us and we will give you honest advice.
We have something to suit every taste: if you like things to be action-packed, we have a lot on offer. If you prefer to observe animals and nature in peace, there are our safaris, hikes, canoe/kayak tours and tours for ornithologists.

Individual program through Costa Rica
We, the team at Posada Nena and alautentico - our own special tour operator - have been organizing individual trips and holidays in Latin America for almost 30 years.
Our principle is to respect the wishes of the traveler and to create an individual travel itinerary, 100% tailored to the customer's very private wishes. We focus on experiencing foreign cultures up close, a variety of activities and a real exchange of experiences with locals. If you want to spend the most beautiful weeks of the year, your vacation, away from the paths of mass tourism, you have come to the right place.
Our multi-day tours and round trips are to be designed together by customers and us. We make suggestions, work out the routes and give tips on nature-friendly destinations far away from mass tourism - together we then determine a route.
With our many years of experience, we have built a reliable team and a network of contacts throughout Costa Rica (and partly in Panama) so that we can provide immediate and honest help, support and advice in every place and region.
