Fortunately, Corona has not been an issue in Costa Rica for a long time. Otherwise it is rather quiet. The rainy season has begun, but rather too gently, so that the Arenal reservoir, for example, holds far too little water. The problem is even worse for our neighbors in Panama - the Panama Canal has to largely stop working because there is no water available for the locks. Or far too little.

Tourism in Costa Rica continues to work very well. Visitors from all over the world are happy about the hospitality, the beautiful nature and the many projects that help the environment.

In 2022, after the pandemic, we were finally able to grow and opened the second Posada Nena in Puerto Viejo in the Caribbean. We can now finally offer our guests unusual accommodation on the beach again - in our usual quality and with great attention to detail. We look forward to a visit soon.
